6 Cultivation technology
6.1 Selection of afforestation land
It is advisable to choose plains or valleys with flat terrain, deep and fertile soil, good soil structure, adequate water sources, and convenient drainage or when continuous flooding
For beach land with no more than 30 days, the soil pH value is 6.5 to 8.0.The site index for cultivating fiber materials should be above 16 index level, and the annual average groundwater level
Should be greater than 1.0m. The site index of cultivated structural timber should be above 18 index level, and the annual average groundwater level should be greater than 1.5m.
6.2 Selection of suitable varieties
Follow the GB/T 6001 species selection principle, should be selected by the national or provincial forest species review committee (approved), and adapted
For southern black poplar varieties within a specific cultivation area, the main varieties can be implemented in accordance with Appendix A. Promote multi-species afforestation.
6.3 Seedlings
6.3.1 Seedling specifications
It is advisable to adopt 1-year-old cutting seedlings or 2-year-old rooting 1-year-old dry cutting seedlings for afforestation. The quality standards of seedlings should meet the requirements of GB/T 6000, among which,
The afforestation of seasonal flooded beaches shall be afforested with grade I seedlings, and shall be implemented in accordance with Appendix B.
6.3.2 Seedling selection
It is advisable to use locally produced qualified seedlings for afforestation. When the local seedlings cannot meet the needs, the qualified seedlings shall be transported for afforestation according to the nearby principle.
6.3.3 Seedling treatment
Pruning and soaking the seedlings before planting. The soaking time is 5 to 7 days. It is advisable to use flowing clean water. The minimum soaking depth should reach
About 1m above the base of the seedlings. In case of drought, the flooding time can be extended appropriately.
6.4 Cleaning up afforestation land
Fully clean up plains, beaches and other sites by mechanical shrub cutting, etc.; low mountain and hilly valleys are cleaned in strips with a bandwidth of 1.5m~
2.0m. The height of the residue after cleaning should be less than 20cm.
6.5 Site preparation
6.5.1 Site preparation time
Site preparation should be carried out in the autumn or winter of the year before afforestation.
6.5.2 Site preparation method
It is advisable to use full reclamation for land preparation on plains, beaches and other sites, with a depth of 30cm~50cm, and use planting hole specifications for seedling afforestation
60cm×60cm×80cm. Drainage ditch shall be excavated at intervals of 50m~80m along the direction of the water flow on the beach land, which shall be determined according to the drainage situation.
The low-mountain and hilly valleys should adopt horizontal strip land preparation. The width of the horizontal belt is 1.5m~2.0m, the depth of site preparation is greater than 30cm, and the specification of planting hole
60cm×60cm×80cm.
6.6 Base fertilizer
With nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer as base fertilizer, afforestation in plain areas can be combined with full reclamation and land preparation at a rate of 300kg/hm2~500kg/hm2, low mountain and hilly valley
For ground afforestation,.200g~300g per hole shall be buried in the soil.
6.7 Afforestation
6.7.1 Afforestation time
Afforestation should be carried out from early January to early March.
6.7.2 Afforestation density
6.7.2.1 Fiber
Afforestation is configured with plant spacing 3m~4m×row spacing 3m~5m, planting 500-1111 plants per hectare.
6.7.2.2 Structural materials
Use 5m×5m, 6m×6m plant row spacing uniform arrangement, or plant spacing 3m~5m×row spacing 6m~8m rectangular arrangement, or plant spacing 3m~
5m×narrow row spacing 5m×wide row spacing 10m~15m wide and narrow row arrangement and other methods, planting 278~417 plants per hectare.
6.7.3 Afforestation methods
6.7.3.1 Dry plantation
Plains and beaches should adopt this method for afforestation. Specifically, steel drills are used to perforate, and rootless seedling cuttings are used for afforestation. The diameter of steel drills is 3cm~4cm.
The punching depth is 70cm~80cm, and the skewer hole is compacted after planting the seedlings to ensure that the base of the seedlings, the stem of the seedlings, the bottom of the hole, and the hole wall are tight and without gaps.
6.7.3.2 Seedling afforestation
Such methods should be used for afforestation in valleys in low mountain and hilly areas. When afforestation, the seedlings should be vertical, the root system should be stretched, the soil should be filled in layers, and the soil should be stepped on. Planting
The depth should be slightly higher than the root neck of the seedlings, and the covering soil should be more than 10cm higher than the surrounding ground.
6.7.4 Replanting
After planting, check seedlings for replanting in time the following year, and for replanting, choose 2-year-old and 1-year-old dry seedlings.
6.8 Tending Management
6.8.1 Wipe buds and remove sprouts
In the year of afforestation, the sprouts of young trees below 2m should be wiped out in time.
6.8.2 Soil loosening and weeding
In the first 3 years after afforestation, cultivating is carried out 1 to 2 times a year, with a depth of 10 cm to 15 cm, to remove weeds and vines, and to support seedling cultivation. Plains and valleys in May~
It will be conducted in July, and the beach will be conducted from March to April.
6.8.3 Ditch cleaning and drainage
During the concentrated rainfall period from May to August, the ditch should be cleared and drained in time to remove the accumulated water in the forest.
6.8.4 Interplanting under forest
Before the forest canopy closes, melons and fruits, vegetables, oil crops, legumes, etc. can be interplanted. After the forest stand is closed, shade-tolerant medicinal plants and pastures can be interplanted.
The distance between the tillage belt and the base of the trunk should be about 1m.
6.8.5 Topdressing
Topdressing nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer or compound fertilizer from April to June of the second to sixth year of afforestation. Generally, once or twice a year, the amount of fertilizer applied per plant is.200g~
500g. Buried in circular or scattered dots in the canopy projection area, the depth is 20cm~30cm.
6.8.6 Pruning
6.8.6.1 Pruning time
When cultivating structural timber, pruning of three-year-old stands will be carried out every two years, in three times, and implemented from December to February of the following year.
6.8.6.2 Pruning strength
The first pruning intensity was 35%, and the crown-to-height ratio was about 6.5.10; the second and third pruning intensity was 40%, and the crown-to-height ratio was about 6.10.
6.8.6.3 Pruning method
Pruning is carried out by the whorl branch method. Every time the bottom of the trunk is pruned, one round of lateral branches is removed. After the third pruning, the height of the tree branches is over 8m. repair
The branch tool should be sharp, the cut should be smooth, close to the trunk, and not leave stubble or tear the bark. The cut branches should be immediately cleared and transported out of the woodland. After pruning
Remove new sprouts from the trunk in time.
6.9 Disease and pest control
Refer to LY/T 1896 and Appendix C for implementation.
7 Logging update
7.1 Harvesting method
Clear cutting is carried out in small groups, and the pile height is about 5cm. For forest stands that need to be regenerated by budding, make sure that the stumps are flat and the bark is not
Torn.
7.2 Update method
7.2.1 Fast-growing and high-yielding fiber forests
Use budding renewal or planting renewal. For the short-rotation management stands with neat forests and good growth, the germination regeneration is adopted, and the regeneration generation is
2nd to 3rd generation.
7.2.2 Fast-growing and high-yielding structural timber forests
Renew with seedlings. After harvesting, re-preparation, planting seedlings and afforestation, the same small group should replace seedlings of different varieties.
