Classification and evaluation of natural forest types in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River
1 Scope
This standard clarifies the classification of natural forest types and natural forest management types in the natural forest protection project areas in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the purpose of their evaluation.
Guiding ideology and principles; stipulates the classification of natural forest types, natural forest management types and classification standards, natural forest evaluation grades and standards.
This standard applies to the classification and evaluation of natural forest types in the natural forest protection engineering area in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
2.1
Originated from the natural state rather than originating from artificial cultivation, it still maintains a better natural forest without interference or lighter interference.
The natural forests covered by this standard mainly refer to the residual original forests in the original natural forest areas, the original forests or the over-expanded forests after disturbance, the natural secondary forests and
Degraded forests and sparse forests of the same degree. Natural forests can generally be roughly classified into primary forests, over-cut forests, secondary forests, and sparse forests according to their degree of degradation.
2.2
Scientific management of natural forests and areas that were originally natural forests and became forest-free, so that existing natural forests have better ecological knots.
Structure, the ecological environment is improved, productivity and biodiversity are improved, so that no forest land can be naturally renewed or established according to the principle of appropriate tree
A better human-day mixed plantation community.
2.3
The primeval forest is a zonal forest ecosystem that is not subject to large natural disturbances or few human disturbances or human disturbance.
System. It is the climax community of forest evolution, rich in species, good forest structure and protective function, stable community structure and strong self
Resilience. The existing primary forests in China are mainly distributed in nature reserves and deep mountain areas where human activities have not yet arrived.
2.4
After the repeated destruction or severe damage, the original forest becomes less than 0.2, but still can see some forest cover.
woodland.
2.5
After the original forest has been disturbed or destroyed by humans, and after a large natural disaster (such as fire), the forest is naturally renewed on various tracks.
After repeated damage or severe damage, the original forest may become sparse or forestless. Vegetation restoration in sparse forests and no forests is more difficult, and its ecology
The function is significantly reduced. In the natural state, there are two possible evolutionary prospects for sparse forests and no forests. One is because the vegetation is repeated over a large area
Destruction caused severe soil erosion, and it is impossible to restore vegetation naturally in this area. Another possibility is that it is smaller in areas with better conditions.
Sparse forests and no forest land, natural regeneration to form natural secondary forests. Natural secondary forests are generally composed of low-value pioneer species, with a lower degree of canopy closure.
Low, mostly lose the forest environment of the original forest, ecological stability and ecological function is poor. If there is no human intervention, rely on the performance of the forest itself.
For the restoration of the natural secondary forest to the community structure of the original forest, it takes decades to nearly a hundred years, and even longer.
2.6
The forest stands after the strength of the original forest after the selective cutting, the forest structure is unreasonable, but still has a good protective function. If you get
