This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB 12268-2012 "List of Dangerous Goods". 1 Scope

This document specifies the general provisions, structure and contents of the dangerous goods list, and basic requirements for packaging. This document applies to the transport of dangerous goods and related activities. This document does not apply to dangerous goods transported in bulk by water.

3 Terms and definitions

GB 6944-2025 and the United Nations "Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Model Regulations" (23rd revised edition) (hereinafter referred to as "Regulations") For this document, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 Proper shipping name In the transport of dangerous goods, the name used to identify the characteristics and classification of dangerous goods. Note. It is also called "proper shipping name" in relevant laws and regulations on water transportation. 3.2 cargo transport unit cargo transport unit Tanks and trucks for road transport, tanks and trucks for rail transport, intermodal freight containers or portable tanks, or multi-unit A general term for gas containers. Note. Also known as "cargo transport unit".

4 General Provisions

4.1 Dangerous goods are divided into 9 categories according to their hazard level. Their classification and product name numbering shall comply with the provisions of GB 6944-2025.
