This standard specifies the harvesting and quality requirements of sweet cherry storage fruits, warehouse preparation and pre-cooling, palletizing, storage and preservation technology, storage tubes

3 Harvesting and quality requirements
3.1 Harvesting period and harvesting time
For medium and long-term storage (1 month to 2 months and above), cherries should be harvested from 7 to 8 mature, and mature batches are harvested. 90%
Cooked and above cherries are suitable for short-term storage within 1 month.
See Appendix A for suitable maturity and physical and chemical quality indicators for sweet cherry harvesting.
Colorimetric cards that determine fruit maturity based on the depth of the skin color have been used in production. See ISO 1134.1980 for related content.
Harvesting should be carried out before 10.00 am in fine weather. It is not suitable for harvesting on rainy days, foggy, and wet fruit.
3.2 Harvesting method
Apply the artificial picking method and gently remove the fruit and the handle. Handle gently to ensure that the fruit is free from scratches, bruises, bruises and abrasions.
Avoid squeezing. Keep it in a cool place after harvest and avoid direct sunlight.
3.3 Container Requirements
The inner wall of the harvesting container should be smooth and soft, and the capacity should not exceed 5kg.
The box is generally made of foam insulation box, carton and plastic turnover box. The bottom of the box should be coated with elastic or soft materials. The box is lined with sweet cherry.
Fresh special bags or special plastic wrap, the amount of fruit does not exceed 2/3 of the container capacity, preferably 10kg ~ 15kg.
3.4 Quality requirements
Fruit shape is square, uniform in size, clean fruit surface, bright color, high soluble solid content, high hardness, good flavor, no pests and diseases
hurt. Other quality requirements are implemented in accordance with GB 18406.2-2001.
3.5 rating
Grading is generally carried out according to the variety, size and harvesting maturity of the sweet cherry. The grading criteria for fruit size are shown in Table 1.
