This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces SN 0172-1992 "food for export Staphylococcus aureus test methods."
This standard compared with SN 0172-1992, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- The original standard name "food for export Staphylococcus aureus test methods" to "import and export food Staphylococcus aureus
Testing method".
--- The original scope of the standard revised to read. "This standard applies to imported and exported food Staphylococcus aureus test";

1 Scope
This standard specifies the test methods in food import and export of Staphylococcus aureus.
This standard applies to imported and exported food Staphylococcus aureus test.

3 test methods
3.1 media and reagents
3.1.1 Common broth. See Appendix A A.1 chapter.
3.1.2 tryptone soy broth. See Appendix A, Section A.2 chapter.
3.1.3 Baird-Parker medium (BP). See Appendix A A.3 chapter.
3.1.4 toluidine blue -DNA Agar. See Appendix A Chapter A.4.

3.2 Equipment and Materials
3.2.1 for conventional plate count with basic equipment and materials.

3.3 Preparation of test sample
3.3.1 solid or semi-solid food Aseptically weigh 25g sample into sterile saline containing 225mL of sterile homogenization Cup
