1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the investigation and evaluation of national park resources.
This standard is applicable to resource survey and evaluation within the scope of land national parks.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 31759 and LY/T 2933-2018 apply to this document. For ease of use,

National park
It is established and managed by the state with the main purpose of protecting a large area of nationally representative natural ecosystems.
A specific land or sea area that realizes the scientific protection and rational use of natural resources. Its primary function is an important natural ecosystem

4 Contents of investigation and evaluation
4.1 Basic information
The basic data necessary for investigation and evaluation are.
-Topographic maps with appropriate proportions;
--Remote sensing image data;
--The latest relevant vectorized data;
-Past related resource survey and monitoring results;
--The latest socio-economic and cultural information.
4.2 Survey content
The contents of the national park resource survey include the basic conditions of national parks, biological resources, human resources and recreational resources4

4.3 Evaluation content
The evaluation of national park resources should include the following aspects.
--Science and protection value evaluation;
--Evaluation of educational value;
-Evaluation of recreational value.
5 Basic situation survey
5.1 Survey content
Investigate the natural environmental conditions (see Table 2), community conditions, and land use conditions involved in the national park area and surrounding areas
Conditions and infrastructure construction.
5.2 Investigation methods and requirements
5.2.1 Data collection, route survey (observation, measurement, sampling, testing, mapping, interview,
Photography, etc.), interpretation of aerospace films, and experimental analysis. Other survey content adopts data collection, interview survey, questionnaire survey

5.2.2 The investigation of natural environmental conditions shall determine the types, boundaries, distribution, and influencing factors of various natural environmental conditions.
5.2.3 The land use type survey is based on GB/T 21010-2017, using the latest land use survey and change data.
5.2.4 Interview surveys and questionnaire surveys should cover the towns and villages involved in and around the national park.
5.2.5 The data should be derived from the latest statistics.
6 Biological Resources Survey
6.1 Vegetation survey
6.1.1 Survey content
The type, structure, appearance, area, distribution, and degree of human interference of the vegetation within the national park.
6.1.2 Investigation methods and requirements
The survey is mainly carried out by using sample methods. Mainly refer to the classification system in "Chinese Vegetation", and the survey is at least detailed to the formation
grade. The sample area of general forest type is 20m*20m, and the sample area of shrub type is 5m*5m.
The sample area is 2m*2m, and the sample area of the aquatic plant community is 2m*2m. At least 3 samples should be set for each community type
square.
6.2 Plant survey
6.2.1 Survey content
The species of wild vascular plants within the scope of national parks, the species, quantity and distribution of rare and endangered wild plants
The status of distribution and protection as well as the types and distribution of alien species.
According to the needs of national parks, the survey of bryophytes and other groups can be increased.
6.2.2 Investigation methods and requirements
The investigation of selected taxa and alien species adopts the route survey method to carry out the investigation, the rare and endangered protection of unique wild plants
The survey refers to LY/T 1820-2009.In principle, the list of plants should have specimens, photos or documents as evidence.
6.3 Animal survey
6.3.1 Survey content
Species of wild vertebrates within the scope of national parks, species, quantity and distribution of rare and endangered wild animals
And protection status, as well as the types and distribution status of alien species.
According to the needs of national parks, the survey of invertebrate groups such as insects can be increased.
6.3.2 Investigation methods and requirements
Use sample line (band) method, sample method or sample point method to investigate each survey content, supplemented by interview survey and information

6.4 Other investigations

7.1 Survey content
7.1.1 The survey content of human resources includes the types and characteristics of local scenery, historical relics, architectural facilities and garden landscapes

7.1.2 The survey of recreational resources includes the survey of natural recreational resources and the survey of cultural recreational resources, mainly investigating the scope of national parks

7.2 Investigation methods and requirements
7.2.1 Use a combination of data collection, field observation, semi-structured interviews, and questionnaires to conduct investigations.
7.2.2 During the investigation process, the investigation content should be as clear, concise and quantitative as possible.
8 Resource evaluation and core resource determination
8.1 Evaluation of Science and Conservation Value
8.1.1 Evaluation Index
The following indicators should be used for evaluation.
-Authenticity. The national park ecosystem and the same kind of climax community ecosystem in the same biogeographic area are forming and consolidating
Similarity in structural and functional features;
-Completeness. The landscape fragmentation of the natural ecosystem in the national park, the components and ecological processes are complete,
The degree of ecological function health and stability;
--Representation. The main natural resources in the national park are represented globally, nationally or in the same biogeographic area
Significance; the representative significance of human resources in the national, regional, or national cultural customs;
--Heterogeneity. National park resources in the country, region or the same biogeographic area and other national park resources
To distinguish
-Diversity. The geographical environment (such as habitat diversity), biological resources (such as genetic diversity, physical
Species diversity, ecosystem diversity, etc.), human resources (such as ethnic diversity, cultural diversity, etc.)
Pair abundance and abundance;
--Rareness. The rarity of natural and human resources in national parks, such as typical natural ecosystems, rare and endangered

8.2 Evaluation of Educational Value
8.2.1 Evaluation Index
The educational value of national parks should be evaluated from the following aspects.
--Science value. The role of national park resources in enriching and enhancing public scientific and cultural knowledge;
-Moral value. The role of national park resources in improving public ideological and moral quality (including environmental protection education, love
Nationalism education, ecological civilization education, etc.);
-Aesthetic value. The visual beauty of national park resources to the public and their role in enhancing the aesthetic value of the public.
8.2.2 Evaluation method
Using qualitative evaluation method, according to the above evaluation indicators and content, horizontal comparison with global, national or related regional situation
Analyze, qualitatively describe the educational value of national park resources.
8.3 Evaluation of recreational value
8.3.1 Quantitative evaluation
On the basis of the survey of recreational resources, the resource monomers and their scopes that can be used for the recreational development and utilization of national parks are screened out.
It is the basis for the evaluation and development of recreational resources. The evaluation indicators, methods and grades refer to the relevant ones in GB/T 18972-2017
It is stipulated that the main recreational resources in the national park are evaluated one by one.
8.3.2 Qualitative evaluation
On the basis of quantitative evaluation, the country’s total amount of recreational resources, types of recreational resources, diversity of recreational resources, etc.

8.3.3 Comprehensive evaluation
On the basis of quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation, the country will be assessed in terms of recreational resources, recreational facilities, accessibility, and carrying capacity.

8.4 Determination of core resources
The results of comprehensive resource survey and evaluation, through comparative analysis, determine the type, quantity and distribution of core resources of national parks

B.1 Scope
This appendix gives the types, content and format of the appendix to the national park resource survey and evaluation report.
B.2 Types of appendices
The national park resource survey and evaluation report should be attached with the following list.
-List of vascular plants in national parks;
-List of National Park Mammals;
-National Park Bird List;
-List of Reptiles in National Parks;
-List of Amphibians in National Parks;
-List of national park fish.
In addition, it should also include an increase in the list of survey taxa.
B.3 Contents and format of appendix
B.3.1 Plant list
Figure B.1 shows the content and format of the list of vascular plants in national parks, and adds the content and format of the survey group list

D.1 General
D.1.1 In order to unify the mapping requirements of various thematic maps in the survey and evaluation of national park resources, ensure the quality of the mapping and improve the efficiency of the mapping
This appendix is formulated to meet the requirements of planning, design and archiving, and to meet the needs of scientific and standardized construction of national parks.
