1 Scope
This standard specifies the equipment preparation, forest use, management and maintenance, and safety requirements for trap light.
This standard is applicable to the use of insect traps in forest pest monitoring throughout the country.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Timely investigation and understanding of the occurrence and development of forestry pests in a certain area and within a certain period of time, including species, population and distribution area

4 Equipment preparation
4.1 Bracket and base
4.1.1 bracket type
A trap light is placed on the stand and a bracket is required. The straight rod is 3m long and the diameter is ≥10cm; the end of the crossbar is 50cm~70cm long.
Straight-angled triangular crosshead with hooks at one end. Install 2 electric porcelain heads on the crossbar (for connecting wires).
4.1.2 Fixed base type
The trap light placed directly on the ground should be flat 1m × 1m solid ground or cement floor.
4.2 Basic equipment
Light traps, wires (copper core diameter ≥1.0mm, aluminum core wire diameter ≥2.5mm), guillotine switch. No power supply should be equipped
Generator (500W ~ 1000W), battery (12V, 100A · h or more), and spare flashlight (emergency lights), oil drums (10L ~ 20L).
The specifications of the light traps shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 24689.1-2009 and GB/T 24689.2-2009.
