This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GH/T 1041-2007 "Sheep Skin".
The main technical changes in this standard compared with GH/T 1041-2007 are as follows.
--- Added English for all terms;
--- Increased the definition of grass stab wound, flower board, leather board, salted skin, moldy skin, circle yellow skin;
--- Increased technical requirements for grass stab in fine hair and semi-fine sheep skin grade standards;
--- Increased technical requirements for grass stab wounds in improved sheep skin grade standards;
--- Increased the technical requirements for grass stab wounds in this species of sheep skin (including cold sheepskin).

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of sheep skin, technical requirements, ratios, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation requirements.
This standard applies to the processing and circulation and inspection of fine or semi-fine sheep skin, improved sheep skin, sheep skin and soil sheep.

Unbaked hides from fine-haired, semi-fine-wool sheep after slaughter.
3.2
Improved sheepskin improvedsheepskin
An uncooked hide that has been removed from the cross-breeding improved sheep after slaughter.
