1 Scope
This document specifies the code structure, code compilation, code expression, and code changes for natural resource registration units.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

natural resources
The sum of natural environmental factors that exist naturally, have value, and can improve human welfare in the present and future.

The spatial range is characterized by clear ownership, well-defined types of natural resources, relatively complete ecological functions, and contiguous and enclosed boundaries.

Each natural resource registration unit is assigned a unique and identifiable identifier according to certain rules.

4.Code Structure
4.1 Each natural resource registration unit shall have a unique code, and natural resource registration shall be conducted in accordance with the basic principles and methods specified in GB/T 7027.
The unit code adopts a three-level 15-bit hierarchical code structure, and the code hierarchy structure is shown in Table 1.
