3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

data
A reinterpretable formal representation of information suitable for communication, interpretation, or processing.

model
The abstraction of the characteristics of things and the description of them using a certain structure and semantics can be understood and used by different applications.
Note. Model is also called information model or data model.

A model that describes the connections between devices.
