On-orbit imaging radiation performance of optical remote sensor
Evaluation method Visible light-short wave infrared
1 Scope
This standard specifies the operating wavelength of space-borne imaging optical remote sensors in the visible light to short-wave infrared range (380nm~2500nm)
On-orbit imaging radiation performance evaluation object, evaluation index and evaluation method.
This standard applies to passive optical remote sensors that are mounted on satellite platforms and use line array detectors to scan and image during orbit operations.
Conducted radiation performance evaluation. Other types of spaceborne passive optical remote sensors can refer to the evaluation of the on-orbit external field radiation performance.

3 Terms and definitions, abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 36297-2018 apply to this document.
3.1.1
Radiation performance radiometriccharacteristics
The ability of the remote sensor to acquire and maintain the relative or absolute radiation energy distribution of the ground object scene during imaging.
3.1.2
Signal-to-noiseratio
The ratio of the effective signal power output by the remote sensor to the noise power.
3.1.3
Radiometric resolution
The minimum radiometric difference that the remote sensor sensing (sensitive) component can distinguish when receiving spectral radiation signals, or refers to two different radiation sources
The resolving power of the amount of radiation.
[GB/T 14950-2009, definition 4.103]
3.1.4
Dynamic range
The output of the optical remote sensor can change with the input of the minimum incident radiation and the maximum incident radiation bounded by the interval.
3.1.5
Non-linearity
In the dynamic range, the actual value of the response deviates from the maximum deviation of the corresponding fitted straight line.
