1 Scope

This part of GB/T 38317 specifies the functional requirements, size requirements, and electrical characteristics of the physical communication interface of the smart energy meter. This section applies to the communication interface module of a smart energy meter installed and used in a power grid with a nominal frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. Note. Communication modules include. carrier module, wireless module, micro power module, etc.

4.1 Dimensions and structural requirements 4.1.1 Dimensions See Table 1 for the dimensions of the smart energy meter communication module box.
