1 Scope
This part of GB/T 38317 specifies the outline structure, installation dimensions, materials, and methods of single and three-phase smart energy meters (hereinafter referred to as meters).
Technical and test requirements.
This section applies to smart energy meters installed and used in power grids with a nominal frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz.

Consists of measurement unit, data processing unit, communication unit, etc., with electric energy measurement, information storage and processing, real-time monitoring, and automatic control

The maximum size that can be reached in the overall height (A), width (B), and thickness (C) of the meter.

A support member installed on the meter cover to fix the meter nameplate and protect the meter communication module, battery box or function keys.
