1 Scope
This part of GB/T 38317 stipulates the outline structure and installation of smart energy meter structure type B energy meter (hereinafter referred to as "type B meter").
Type, size and material requirements.
This section applies to type B instruments installed and used in power grids with a nominal frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz.
For other structural models of smart energy meters, please refer to this section.

4 Requirements
4.1 General requirements
The outline structure and installation dimensions of single-phase and three-phase B-type meters shall meet the requirements of GB/T 38317.11-2019, and shall also meet
Requirements of 4.2 ~ 4.5.
4.2 Appearance structure and installation size and color
4.2.1 Dimensions
The dimensions of the B-type meter shall meet the requirements of Table 1.
