1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination of dewi (Geosmin) and 2-methylisostearyl alcohol (2-methyli-

3.1 Carrier gas

3.2 Reagents
3.2.1 Methanol. excellent grade pure.
3.2.2 pure water. chromatographic test without interference components.
3.2.3 sodium chloride (NaCl). excellent grade pure, by 450 ℃ baking 2h after the dryer to spare.
3.2.4 Chromatographic standards. fulvic acid, 2-methyl isonenol and internal standard 2-isobutyl-3-methoxypyrazine are certified standard solution.
