1 Scope

This document specifies the frequency, sample size and sampling requirements, quality control and other technical requirements for hygienic monitoring for public places. It describes the verification method. This Part is applicable to hygienic monitoring for public places. For other places, it shall follow this Part for implementation.

The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. 3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 hygienic monitoring for public places During the business hours in public places, environmental sample collection and testing shall be carried out based on the evaluation of hygiene conditions. 3.2 period with the peak flow of customers During the business hours in public places, the period when the number of customers accounts for 70% or more of the designed maximum passenger capacity.

4 Frequency, sample size, and sampling requirements for

hygienic monitoring for public places 4.1 Hygienic monitoring of accommodation places such as hotels, inns, and guesthouses 4.1.1 Indoor air 4.1.1.1 Monitoring frequency. air quality monitoring shall be conducted once in the morning and once in the afternoon of the same day; the frequency of routine health supervision and monitoring can be carried out according to relevant regulations. 4.1.1.2 Monitoring sample size. monitor frequently used guest rooms. Sampling under normal usage conditions. For places with less than or equal to 100 guest rooms, 3%~5% of the number of guest rooms shall be selected for monitoring. For places with more than 100 guest rooms, 1%~3% of the number of guest rooms shall be selected for monitoring. And the number of monitored guest rooms in each location shall not be less than 3.One measuring point shall be set up for each room with an indoor area of less than 50 m2.Set up 2 measuring points for rooms with an indoor area of 50 m2~200 m2. Set up 3~5 measuring points for rooms with an indoor area greater than 200 m2. 4.1.1.3 Sampling requirements. the sampling method for monitoring physical indicators shall comply with GB/T 18204.1.The sampling method for monitoring chemical indicators shall comply with GB/T18204.2.The sampling method for monitoring air microbial indicators shall comply with GB/T 18204.3.Record the status of the air conditioning switch, sampling height, temperature and humidity, and other environmental conditions during sampling. 4.1.2 Domestic drinking water 4.1.2.1 Monitoring frequency. the frequency requirements for monitoring drinking water (including pipeline direct drinking water) are the same as those in 4.1.1.1. Monitor shower water at least once a year in both summer and winter. 4.1.2.2 Monitoring sample size. the number of guest rooms for monitoring drinking water and shower water shall be the same as 4.1.1.2.Collect 2 drinking water samples and 2 bath water samples in each room. If there is direct drinking water through pipelines, two additional water samples shall be taken. 4.1.2.3 Sampling requirements. Refer to GB/T 5750.2 to collect drinking water samples. Collect 500 mL of hot water normally used for showerheads or bathtub faucets for physical and chemical testing. Collect 500 mL of cold water normally used for showerheads or bathtub faucets for microbiological testing. 4.2 Hygienic monitoring of theaters, music halls, video halls (rooms), amusement halls, dance halls and other places 4.2.1 Indoor air in theaters, music halls, video halls (rooms), etc. 4.2.1.1 Monitoring frequency. air quality monitoring is conducted once during the period with the peak flow of customers and the off-peak period of the day. The frequency of routine health supervision and monitoring can be carried out according to relevant regulations. 4.2.1.2 Monitoring sample size. 20% of the number of internal business halls/rooms shall be selected, and the number of monitoring business halls/rooms shall not be less than one. Install 1~2 measuring points in business halls/rooms with less than 300 seats. Arrange 2~3 measuring points in a business hall/room with a seating capacity of 300~ 500.A business hall/room with 501~1000 seats is equipped with 3~4 measuring points. Install 5 measuring points in business halls/rooms with more than 1000 seats. 4.2.1.3 Sampling requirements. select frequently used business areas. The testing height shall be consistent with the height of the breathing belt. Measurement points shall avoid open air vents, ventilation ducts, etc. The sampling method for monitoring physical indicators shall comply with GB/T 18204.1.The sampling method for monitoring chemical indicators shall comply with GB/T 18204.2.The sampling method for monitoring air microbial indicators shall comply with GB/T 18204.3.Record the status of the air conditioning switch, sampling height, temperature and humidity, and other environmental conditions during sampling. 4.2.2 Indoor air in amusement halls, dance halls, etc. 4.2.2.1 Monitoring frequency. same as 4.2.1.1. 4.2.2.2 Monitoring sample size. install one monitoring point in places with a business area of less than 50 m2.Install 2 measuring points in a venue with a business area of 50 m2~200 m2.Set up 3 to 5 measuring points in places with a business area >200 m2. 4.2.2.3 Sampling requirements. same as 4.2.1.3. 4.3 Hygienic monitoring of public bathhouses, swimming pools and other places 4.3.1 Indoor air 4.3.1.1 Monitoring frequency. same as 4.2.1.1. 4.3.1.2 Monitoring sample size. the business area of the venue shall be classified and calculated according to different functional areas (such as bathrooms, swimming pools, 4.4.2 Monitoring sample size. beauty salons shall sample 20% of the number of beauty rooms, and each beauty venue shall monitor no less than 2 beauty rooms. Each beauty room is equipped with one measuring point. When the business area of a beauty salon is < 50 m2, one measuring point shall be set up on the premises. When the business area is between 50 m2~200 m2, two measuring points shall be set up in the venue. When the business area is >200 m2, the venue shall be equipped with 3~5 measuring points. 4.4.3 Sampling requirements. select frequently used business areas. Measurement points shall avoid open air vents, ventilation ducts, etc. The sampling method for monitoring physical indicators shall comply with GB/T 18204.1.The sampling method for monitoring chemical indicators shall comply with GB/T 18204.2.The sampling method for monitoring air microbial indicators shall comply with GB/T 18204.3. Record the status of the air conditioning switch, sampling height, temperature and humidity, and other environmental conditions during sampling. Places that have both beauty and hairdressing areas shall be sampled in different zones. 4.5 Indoor air hygienic monitoring of sports venues 4.5.1 Monitoring frequency. same as 4.2.1.1. 4.5.2 Monitoring sample size. two monitoring points are set up in places with a business area < 1000 m2.Set up three measuring points in a location with a business area of 1000 m2~5000 m2.Install 5 measuring points in places with a business area >5000 m2. 4.5.3 Sampling requirements. same as 4.2.1.3. 4.6 Indoor air hygienic monitoring in exhibition halls, museums, libraries, art galleries, shopping malls (stores), bookstores, waiting rooms (machines, ships) and other places 4.6.1 Monitoring frequency. same as 4.2.1.1. 4.6.2 Monitoring sample size. install one monitoring point in places with a business area < 200 m2.Install 2 measuring points in a location with a business area ranging from 200 m2~1000 m2.Install 3 measuring points in places with a business area >1000 m2. 4.6.3 Sampling requirements. same as 4.2.1.3. 4.7 Hygienic monitoring of other places Monitor according to the requirements of 4.1~4.6 based on the characteristics of the corresponding location. 4.8 Monitoring of centralized air conditioning and ventilation systems in public places The hygienic monitoring of centralized air conditioning and ventilation systems in various public places shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 18204.5.

5 Sample size requirements for monitoring public goods and

appliances The hygienic monitoring of public goods and appliances in various public places shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 18204.4.In principle, the monitoring sample size of public goods and appliances shall be selected from 3%~5% of the total number of items for cleaning, disinfection, and backup use. The sampling quantity for each type of supplies and utensils shall not be less than 3 and not more than 10.

6 Quality control of on-site sampling operations

6.1 Before each monitoring, on-site monitoring personnel shall receive job training. The training content includes monitoring objectives, planning arrangements, specific guidance and requirements for monitoring techniques, record filling requirements, etc. 6.2 Before on-site sampling, the instrument shall be routinely inspected according to the controlled monitoring method standards or operation instructions, and the instrument manual shall be consulted to familiarize oneself with the instrument's performance and scope of application, and to use the monitoring instrument correctly. 6.3 Before putting the instrument into use and after troubleshooting, it shall be calibrated or calibrated. Verification and calibration shall be conducted annually, with periodic checks and maintenance. 6.4 Before each air sampling, the airtightness of the sampling system shall be checked. Flow calibration shall be performed under load conditions before and after sampling. The relative deviation between the flow values of the two calibrations shall not exceed 5%. 6.5 Chemical index monitoring sampling shall have a blank control and parallel samples shall be taken. 6.6 Microbial indicator monitoring sampling shall be sterile. Sampling tools, such as sampling vessels, test tubes, wide mouthed bottles, scissors, etc., shall be sterilized and stored sterile.
