This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and contracting of deformed magnesium and magnesium alloy flat ingots.

3.1 grades, status, specifications
3.1.1 The grade, status and specifications of the ingot shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.

3.2 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of the ingot shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 5153 or be consulted by both parties.
3.3 Size Tolerance
3.3.1 The thickness deviation of the ingot after processing shall comply with the provisions of Table 2, the width deviation should be consistent with the provisions of Table 3, the length deviation should be consistent with Table 4
