1 Scope
This standard specifies the body height (length), weight, head circumference, waist circumference, hip circumference and skinfold thickness measurement methods and technical requirements.
This standard applies to population nutrition surveys, health surveys and monitoring of human body measurements.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Anthropometry anthropometry
Measurement of the length, width, thickness and extent of the relevant parts of the human body.

Bodylength bodylength
Supine position to the length of the heel.

Height bodyheight
The vertical distance from the base of the foot to the highest point of the head.
