This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces WB/T 1043-2012 "Shelf Classification and Code". Compared with WB/T 1043-2012, except for editorial changes,
The main technical changes are as follows.
---The standard "Scope" has been changed, and the limitation of "Excluding Automated Warehouse Shelves" has been deleted;
--- Deleted the relevant provisions of "Classification by the connection form between the rack system components" (see 3.2 in the.2012 edition);
--- Deleted the relevant provisions of "classification by the working height of the shelf system" (see 3.5 in the.2012 edition);
--- Deleted the English explanation in "Classification by shelf function" (see 3.6 in the.2012 edition);

1 Scope
This document specifies the classification of storage shelves and specifies its code according to the functional classification.
This document is applicable to assembled steel structure shelves used in various storages made of cold-formed steel or hot-rolled steel.

4 Shelf classification
4.1 Classification according to the fixed form of the shelf on the ground
4.1.1 Fixed shelves
A shelf that is fixed to the ground as a whole.
4.1.2 Mobile rack
A shelf whose main body is movable relative to the ground.
4.2 Classification according to the connection form of the shelf and the warehouse building structure
4.2.1 Separated racks for warehouse racks
A fixed type shelf where the steel structure components that make up the shelf are separated from the building.
4.2.2 Warehouse rack integrated rack
The steel structure that composes the shelf doubles as the shelf of the building's load-bearing structural component.
4.3 Classification by loading unit load
4.3.1 Light-duty racks. each layer of the loading unit usually carries less than 150kg.
4.3.2 Medium-sized racks. each layer of the loading unit usually carries 150kg~500kg.
4.3.3 Heavy-duty racks. each layer of the loading unit usually carries more than 500kg.
4.4 Classification by shelf function
4.4.1 Pallet racks
A shelf where goods are stored with pallets as the loading unit.
