4 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise indicated, the reagents used were of analytical grade, test water should be consistent with GB/T 6682 a water standards.
4.1 Methanol. chromatographically pure.
4.2 acetic anhydride.
4.3 acetic acid solution. Pipette formulated into 0.4% acetic acid (by volume) acetic acid solution.
4.4 1,2-isothiazolin-3-one standard substance. purity greater than or equal to 97%.
4.5 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one standard substance. purity greater than or equal to 99%.
4.6 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (1.2%)/2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (0.3%) standard substance.
Note. 5-chloro-2 content isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one suppliers and purity is determined by batch.
4.7 Phenol standard substance. not less than 99% purity.
4.8 1,2-isothiazolin-3-one standard stock solution. accurately weighed amount 1,2-isothiazolin-3-one reference material (accurate to
