1 Scope
This standard specifies the wooden toys formaldehyde content determined by HPLC.
This standard applies to the determination of various toys made of solid wood and formaldehyde content and other man-made sheet steel.

Extraction of water samples in formaldehyde, formaldehyde extract with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (2,4-Dinitrophenylhydrazine, DNPH)
Derivatization process in weak acid buffer solution, the direct determination of the formaldehyde content by HPLC.
4 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical reagents and GB/T 6682 under the two water.
4.1 acetic acid.
4.2 sodium acetate.
4.3 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH). 50% aqueous solution.
4.4 acetonitrile. chromatography.
4.5 5mol/L acetic acid. Take 28.5mL acetic acid (4.1), constant volume of water to 100mL.
4.6 5mol/L sodium acetate solution. Weigh 41.0g of sodium acetate (4.2), constant volume of water to 100mL.
4.7 acetate buffer (pH5.0). Take 40.0mL5mol/L acetic acid (4.5), 60.0mL5mol/L sodium acetate solution (4.6), mixed
Together evenly. Adjusted to pH5.0 ± 0.1 with 6mol/L sodium hydroxide or 6mol/L hydrochloric acid, if necessary.
4.8 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH) solution (3mg/mL). said 600mgDNPH (50%) in 100mL flask with acetonitrile

4.9 formaldehyde standard. standard solution (12mg/mL or so) or formaldehyde stock solution according to GB/T 2912.1-1998 Appendix A calibration method
After diluted with pure water to a concentration of 12mg/mL or so stored.
4.10 120μg/mL concentration of formaldehyde standard solution. Take formaldehyde standard solution (4.9) diluted 100 times to give 120μg/mL or so

4.11 5μg/mL concentration of formaldehyde standard solution. Take 1mL120μg/mL formaldehyde standard solution (4.10) diluted 25-fold to give 5μg/mL
