1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of winter melon, basic requirements for product quality, commodity grade, packaging, labeling and circulation process requirements.
This standard applies to the management and management of black-skinned melon circulation. Other types of winter melon can be referred to.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Maturity degreeofmaturity
Winter melons reach physiological maturity, fully developed, and mature seeds.
4 Basic requirements for product quality
4.1 has the inherent color and shape of the variety.
4.2 The body is intact and clean, with no obvious mechanical damage, rot, pests, deformities and chills.
4.3 The limit of pollutants and the maximum residue limit of pesticides shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB 2762 and GB 2763.
5 product grade
Under the premise of complying with the provisions of Chapter 4, black skin melon is divided into first grade and second according to maturity, freshness, integrity and uniformity.

The maturity is fully developed, the seeds are mature, and the melon skin is hard. Fully developed, the seeds are ripe, and the melon skin is harder.
Fresh melon skin is smooth and bright; the meat is tight and not soft. The melon skin is not wrinkled; the meat is tight and not soft.
Completeness without mechanical damage and scars. There are slight mechanical damage and marks.
The uniformity of the melon is positive, the color and size are even, and the weight of the melon is ≥10kg. The shape of the melon is more square, the color and size are more uniform, and the weight of the melon is ≥6kg.
