Copper tape for cable shielding
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of copper tape for cable shielding.
This standard applies to copper tape used for shielding power cables, electronic cables, radio frequency cables, communication cables, and control cables.

3 requirements
3.1 Product Classification
3.1.1 Brand, status, specification
The brand, state, and specification of the copper tape used for cable shielding should meet the requirements in Table 1.
Note 1.After negotiation between the supplier and the buyer, other grades, conditions and specifications of copper tape for cable shielding can also be supplied.
Note 2.The length of the product is negotiated between the supplier and the buyer.
3.1.2 Representation
The product mark is expressed in the order of product code, specification, and standard number.
3.2 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of TUP0.003 should meet the requirements of Table 2.The chemical composition of other brands should meet the requirements of the corresponding brands in GB/T 5231.
3.3 Dimensions and allowable deviation
3.3.1 The thickness of the copper tape used for cable shielding and its allowable deviation shall meet the requirements of Table 3.
3.3.2 The width and allowable deviation of the copper tape for cable shielding should meet the requirements of Table 4.
3.3.3 The shape of the copper tape for cable shielding should be flat and straight, and its side curvature should not exceed 1.5 mm/m.
3.3.4 The two sides of the copper tape for cable shielding should be cut neatly without burrs, cracks and curling. The unevenness of any two adjacent layers of the coil should not exceed 1
mm, the unevenness of any two layers, the thickness of 0.2 mm and below does not exceed 1 mm, and the thickness above 0.2 mm does not exceed 2 mm.
3.4 Mechanical properties
The mechanical properties of the copper tape for cable shielding should meet the requirements in Table 5.The results of the Vickers hardness test are for reference only.
Note. For strips with a thickness of less than 0.2 mm, the test results are for reference only or negotiated between the supplier and the buyer.
3.5 Electrical performance
When tested at a temperature of 20 ℃, the electrical properties of the copper tape for cable shielding should meet the requirements in Table 6.
3.6 Surface quality
3.6.1 The surface of the copper tape for cable shielding should be smooth, clean, free of oxidation and discoloration, and no defects that may affect the use of it are allowed.
3.6.2 Each strip of strip should be wound tightly and neatly. When there is a core, the size of the core should be negotiated between the supplier and the buyer.
4 Test method
4.1 Chemical composition
The chemical composition analysis of copper tape for cable shielding shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5121 (all parts) or YS/T 482, and the arbitration analysis method

4.2 Dimensions and allowable deviation
The external dimension test of the copper tape for cable shielding shall be carried out in accordance with the regulations of GB/T 26303.3.
4.3 Mechanical properties
The tensile strength and elongation test of the copper tape for cable shielding shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 228.1-2010.The sample number is GB/T
P02 in Appendix B of 228.1-2010.The Vickers hardness test is carried out in accordance with the regulations of GB/T 4340.1.It is not recommended to test specimens with a thickness less than 0.2 mm

4.4 Electrical performance
The electrical performance test of the copper tape for cable shielding shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 3048.2 or YS/T 478.According to GB/T 3048.2 during arbitration

4.5 Surface quality
The surface quality of the copper tape for cable shielding should be inspected visually.
5 Inspection rules
5.1 Inspection
The copper tape used for cable shielding shall be inspected according to Table 7.The copper strip shall be inspected and qualified by the manufacturer before leaving the factory. Each batch of products shipped
The product quality inspection certificate of the manufacturer shall be attached.
5.2 Sampling
The sampling of copper tape for cable shielding should meet the requirements in Table 8.The sampling method is carried out according to YS/T 668.
5.3 Judgment of inspection results
5.3.1 When the chemical composition is unqualified, the batch of strips shall be deemed unqualified.
5.3.2 When the external dimensions and their allowable deviations and surface quality are unqualified, the coil is judged to be unqualified.
5.3.3 When the test results of tensile strength, elongation, Vickers hardness and electrical properties have unqualified samples, the strips (including the

The strip is qualified. If the repeated test results still have unqualified samples, the batch of strips shall be deemed unqualified, or the supplier shall inspect the strips one by one and deliver the qualified ones.
6 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
6.1 Logo
The package of copper tape for cable shielding should be attached with a label indicating.
a) The name, trademark and address of the manufacturer;
b) Product name and specifications;
c) Production batch number;
d) Gross weight and net weight (kg);
e) Date of manufacture;
f) Number of this standard;
g) Pictorial signs for precautions during transportation and storage.
6.2 Packaging, transportation and storage
Packaging, transportation, and storage should comply with GB/T 8888.
