Method for measuring far infrared emissivity of bamboo charcoal
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions and test methods for the far-infrared emissivity of bamboo charcoal.
This standard applies to the testing of far-infrared emissivity of bamboo charcoal and products using bamboo charcoal as the main raw material.
2 Normative references
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated reference documents, only the dated version applies to
This document. For undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 30365-2013 apply to this document.
3.1
Emissivity
The ratio of the radiant energy of an actual object and a black body at the same temperature under the same conditions is a measure of the object’s strong radiant ability, which varies between 0
Weak value.
3.2
Normal emissivity
The ratio of the electromagnetic energy radiated by an object through the normal direction of the surface to the electromagnetic energy radiated by a black body at the same temperature under the same conditions
value.
3.3
Bamboo charcoal far infrared emissivity
The normal emissivity of bamboo charcoal measured in the infrared band of 8μm~14μm.
[Modify GB/T 30365-2013, Terms and Definitions 3.1]
4.Test method
4.1 Principle
According to the law of conservation of energy and Kirchhoff's law, the normal reflectivity of the surface of the object to be measured is measured by using an active blackbody radiation source.
That is, radiant energy of known intensity is projected onto the surface of the opaque sample to be measured and the reflected energy of the surface is measured with a reflectometer to obtain the sample
And then calculate the emissivity.
4.2 Instruments and tools
4.2.1 Apparatus
Dual-band emissivity measuring instrument, main technical parameters. emissivity measuring range 0.1-0.99, sensitivity 0.001.
4.2.2 Tablet pressing tool
Tablet press (see Appendix A).
Annular plastic mold. nominal diameter 60 mm, height 4 mm; aluminum base. 150 mm×150 mm×1.5 mm; glass plate
The plastic mold should be completely covered.
4.3 Sample preparation
4.3.1 Sample pretreatment
The bamboo charcoal is pulverized by a pulverizer and a sample of the 100-mesh standard sieve is taken, dried to dryness, and prepared by pressing.
4.3.2 Preparation of compressed samples
Take the bamboo charcoal that has passed through a 100-mesh sieve and place it in a circular plastic mold. After it is filled, the surface is flattened with a glass plate for testing. If needed
For the tablet, lay the aluminum base flat and set the ring-shaped plastic mold (nominal diameter 60 mm) on top, and add the bamboo charcoal sample to be tested into the tablet cavity.
Adjust the height according to the thickness of the sample piece, put on the middle gland and outer sleeve, and insert the positioning pin to fix it, and then center on the top surface of the middle gland
Put a pressure-transmitting steel ball into the ball-bearing recess of the lower part, and finally screw the upper gland into the upper mouth of the outer sleeve, and insert the lever into the lever hole.
Pull the lever to press the sample into a circular sheet shape to complete the sheet pressing work.
4.4 Sample test
4.4.1 Set instrument parameters, install 8μm~14μm infrared band filter, and calibrate after the temperature stabilizes.
4.4.2 Place the mold with the sample on the test bench for testing, and record the far-infrared emissivity value.
4.4.3 Rotate the sample randomly and measure more than 10 times. The result shall be the arithmetic mean value, accurate to 0.001, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) shall not be
If it is greater than 1.00%, if it does not meet the requirements, a new sample preparation test is required.
5 matters needing attention
5.1 Keep the test bench still during the test.
5.2 During the test, keep the sample dry and the surface smooth.
5.3 If the data fluctuates greatly during the test, re-sampling and testing are required.
