3 terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Mother bamboo seedling propagation with parent bamboo
A method for raising mother bamboo by transplanting it into a seedbed to breed new bamboo plants.
3.2
Buried whip nursery propagation with buried rhizome; propagation by rhizome-layering
The bamboo whip is buried in the soil to promote its sprouting roots and grow into new bamboo plants.
3.3
Seedling stage
The period from the germination of the whip buds to the transplanting is generally 2 years.
4 Nursery
4.1 Field selection
4.1.1 Field environment
Choose to build a garden in a location with convenient transportation and abundant water. The air environment quality should meet the requirements of GB 3095; the soil environment quality should
Comply with the regulations of GB 15618; the quality of irrigation water shall comply with the regulations of GB 5084, and the construction of nursery shall comply with the regulations of LY/T 1185.
4.1.2 Climate conditions
Choose an area with an annual average temperature of 15 ℃ ~ 20 ℃, an average temperature of January of 1 ℃ ~ 9 ℃, and an annual rainfall of more than 800 mm.
4.1.3 Soil conditions
Select a soil layer with a depth of more than 30 cm, and a loose, moist, well-drained pH = 5.5 ~ 7.0 loam or sandy loam.
4.2 Land preparation
4.2.1 Cleaning and Tilling
Before weeding and plowing, clear the weeds in the field. The ploughing depth is about 30 cm to make the soil pieces fine and the soil surface flat.
4.2.2 Drain
Open drainage ditch every 5 meters, the ditch is 30 cm deep and 35 cm wide; open side ditch around, the ditch is 40 cm deep and 45 cm wide.
4.2.3 Soil disinfection
Apply 100 kg ~ 150 kg of quicklime as soil disinfectant every 666.67 square meters.
4.2.4 Soil fertilization
Apply 100 kg ~ 150 kg of rotten cake fertilizer and 50 kg ~ 75 kg compound fertilizer as base fertilizer per 666.67 square meters.
4.3 Nursery time
February to mid-April.
4.4 Nursery methods
4.4.1 Mother Bamboo Nursery
4.4.1.1 Mother Bamboo Selection
Choose 1- to 2-year-old mother bamboo that is robust and free of diseases and insect pests, with a height of more than 70 cm and a ground diameter of more than 0.5 cm.
4.4.1.2 Mother Bamboo Shipping
Two to three stalks are dug into a clump to maintain the fibrous root soil. The diameter of the soil ball is 15 cm to 20 cm. The mother bamboo is cut off when it is higher than 2 m. Retaining soil during transport
The ball and mother bamboo are moist.
4.4.1.3 Mother Bamboo Planting
Holes were punched according to the row spacing of 1.0 m to 1.2 m, and the planting hole size was 25 cm × 25 cm × 20 cm. When the mother bamboo is put into the soil, it should be filled in layers,
Make sure that the root system is in full contact with the soil, irrigate the water once, and then cover the soil with a turtle back, 8 cm ~ 10 cm above the seedbed.
4.4.2 Buried Whip Seedling
4.4.2.1 Whip Segment Selection
A robust whip segment with a length of 20 cm to 30 cm and a diameter of 0.6 cm or more was selected.
4.4.2.2 Whip segment start
Keep the whip segment moist during transportation.
4.4.2.3 Buried Whip
Trench every 60 cm ~ 80 cm, with a width of 8 cm ~ 10 cm and a depth of 10 cm ~ 15 cm.
60 cm ~ 70 cm, covered with soil, compacted, covered with grass, watered.
4.5 Seedling management
4.5.1 Replenishment
When the seedling survival rate is lower than 85%, the seedlings are replenished the following year.
4.5.2 Water management
Keep the seedbed soil moist. There should be no rainfall for 10 consecutive days to 15 days in summer, and irrigation should be timely in the morning or evening. Drain water in time during the rainy season.

When the drainage ditch is blocked, clear the ditch in time to keep the drainage ditch open.
5 Nursery stock
Seedlings with stalks up to 0.5m or more can be released from the nursery. Digging by clumps, each clump is 2 to 3 stalks, and the diameter of the soil ball is more than 15 cm. Bamboo seedling quality should
Meet the requirements of GB 35242. Moisturizing transportation after quarantine.
6 Pest control
6.1 Bamboo leaf rust [Puccinia sp.]
Start spraying 20% triazolidone (pintanin) EC 800-1000 times in mid-late March, spraying once every 7-10 days, continuous spraying
3 to 4 times.
6.2 Aphids bambusae
Before the winged aphids migrate and fly aphids, kill the aphids in time, 6% imidacloprid 1000 times solution, acetamiprid 3000 times solution, spray every 3 to 5 days
