This standard specifies the technical requirements for the specificity, consistency and stability of new varieties of Magnolia L. plants.
This standard applies to all Magnolia [using JEDandy (1978) and Liu Yuhu (1996) classification system] new plant varieties

Evergreen evergreen
Winter plant leaves still survive without falling off.
3.1.2
Semi-evergreen semi-evergreen
In winter, only some of the leaves of the plants fall off, or the leaves fall off in the cold winter regions, and the leaves survive in the warm winter areas without falling off.

Deciduous
In winter, the leaves of the plants all fell off.

The time during which the blade shedding process ends in the autumn and winter.
