Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces LY/T 1707-2007 "Wetland Ecosystem Positioning Observation Index System".
The main changes in this standard compared with LY/T 1707-2007 are as follows.
---Additional main content
1. Added the following normative references
GB/T 24708-2009 Wetland Classification
HJ/T 166-2004 Technical Specifications for Soil Environmental Monitoring
LY/T 1707-2007 Wetland Ecosystem Positioning Observation Index System
QX/T 45-2007 Ground Meteorological Observation Specification
SL219-98 Water Environment Monitoring Specification
2. Increased terms such as wetland type, wetland wild animals, wetland vegetation, wetland plant communities, soil evaporation and continuous observation.
definition.
3. Increased wetland genesis, wetland sediment type, inter-green evaporation, peat layer, wetland plant litter, wetland microbes, wetland endangered
Observation indicators such as species, epidemic diseases, and harmful invasive species.
---The main content of the deletion
1. Deleted “LY/T 1606-2003 Forest Ecosystem Positioning Observation Index System” in “2 Normative Reference Documents”.
2. Deleted "3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, 3.12, 3.15, 3.16, 3.17, 3.18, 3.19, 3.20,

3. Deleted the “Surface of the Wetland Protection Area” in the “Comprehensive Indicators of Wetland Resources in Table 1” of “4.1 Comprehensive Indicators for Wetland Resources”
One line.
4. Deleted “4.3 Wetland Atmospheric Settlement Indicators”.
5. Deleted the “wetland-related disasters” in “Table 5 Wetland Ecosystem Health Indicators” in “4.5 Wetland Ecosystem Health Indicators”
The occurrence of the damage" line.
---Main content of the modification
1. Modified "1 Scope".
2. Revised “3.2 Wetland Ecosystem wetlandecosystem” in the terms and definitions.
3. Revised the headings 4.1, 4.2, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, in which the title of “4.6 Wetland Hydrological Indicators” was revised to “4.4 Wetland Hydrology”
Observation indicators” and “4.5 Wetland water quality observation indicators.” At the same time, the text description in each title was revised and a number of observation indicators were modified.
Language and definitions, re-adjusted the categories of observations and frequency of observations, and some indicators added notes.

Wetland ecosystem positioning observation index system
1 Scope
This standard specifies the indicators for the positioning of wetland ecosystems, namely the general profile of wetlands, meteorological observations of wetlands, and soil views of wetlands.
Measurement indicators, wetland hydrological observation indicators, wetland water quality observation indicators, wetland biological observation indicators and wetland disaster observation indicators.
This standard is applicable to the long-term positioning observation of wetland ecosystems in China.
