1 Scope
This standard specifies methods for testing and evaluating the effects of continuous loading and creep on wood and engineered composite wood.
This standard applies to continuous load behavior under dry conditions for continuous loading of sawn timber and engineered composite wood similar to solid wood.
And the evaluation of creep impact performance is not applicable to the quantitative study of creep damage and creep factor.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Sample width breadth
The specimen is perpendicular to the span and perpendicular to the dimension in which the bending load is applied.

Creep creep
The phenomenon that the test material increases with time under constant load.

Creep deflection creepeflection
The creep specimen is deflected at a certain time minus the initial deflection.

Creep rate creeprate
The ratio of creep deflection as a function of time.

Sample height
The specimen is perpendicular to the span and parallel to the dimension of the direction in which the bending load is applied.

In the presence of a covering, the moisture content of the wood does not exceed 18%.
