3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Rosin resin rosinesters
Carboxyl and alcohol hydroxyl groups in rosin, modified rosin (hydrogenated rosin, disproportionated rosin, maleic rosin, polymerized rosin, etc.) or their refined products
The product produced by esterification reaction.
Note. Mainly include rosin glycerol ester, rosin pentaerythritol ester, etc.
4 Test methods
Unless otherwise specified, all reagents used in this document are of analytical grade.
4.1 Appearance
4.1.1 Sample preparation
4.1.1.1 Block solid resin
Follow the method in 7.1.1 of GB/T 8146-2022.
4.1.1.2 Granular (or flake) solid resin
Weigh 20g of sample (accurate to 0.5g) and place it in a crucible. Heat it at low temperature (preferably to prevent its color from deepening) under the protection of inert gas.
When it is melted, pour it into a cube with a side length slightly larger than 22 mm made of clean paper strips. After cooling, remove the paper strips and follow GB/T 8146-
The sample blocks are made according to the method in 7.1.1 of 2022.
