1 Scope

This document stipulates the technical requirements for the cultivation technology, gallnut forest construction, gallnut harvesting, processing, packaging, storage and transportation. This document applies to the production, quality assessment and trade of gallnut producing areas.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Chinese galnut 3.1.1 Chinese galnut Galls are formed by stimulating the proliferation of plant tissues, and their main component is gallic tannic acid.
