This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces LY/T 1878-2010 "Forest Management Certification Audit Guidelines", compared with the replaced standards, the main changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the auditing principles, auditing methods, auditing activities, types of auditing, and verification methods of auditing indicators for forest management certification.
This standard applies to certification institutions to carry out forest management certification based on "China Forest Certification Forest Management" (GB/T 28951-2012)

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 28951-2012 apply to this document.
3.1
Forest management certification audit forestmanagementcertificationaudit
The third party certification body obtains the audit evidence and conducts an objective evaluation to determine that the forest management unit meets the forest management audit.
A systematic, independent, and documented process of the extent of the guidelines.
3.2
Audit criteria auditcriteria
A set of guidelines and procedures used by the forest management certification auditor as a reference to compare the collected audit evidence on forest management
Preface or requirements, including China Forest Certification Forest Management (GB/T 28951-2012) and other countries related to forest management certification review
Or industry standards.
3.3
Auditor auditor
Refers to those who have the ability and qualification to implement forest certification audits.
3.4
Audit team auditorteam
One or more auditors appointed to undertake forest management certification audit tasks. Technical experts can provide support when needed.
3.5
Audit team leader auditorteamleader
The person in charge of the forest management certification audit within the audit team.
Note. The audit team leader shall be fully responsible for the work of the audit team, have certain audit experience, and have the ability to lead and organize the audit team.
