Schisandra chinensis seedling
1 Scope
This standard specifies the definition, quality, technical requirements, inspection rules, storage and transportation of the seedlings of Schisandra chinensis.
This standard applies to the first-year seedlings of Schisandra chinensis.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
2.1
Root length
The length of the root system retained after the seedlings are trimmed.
2.2
Root amplitude
The magnitude of the root system centered on the ground diameter.
3 seedling quality technical requirements
3.1 The qualified seedlings for production require no mechanical damage to the aerial parts of the seedlings, fully lignified, and the root system is developed. The root length is 20cm or more.
The width is 8cm or more.
3.2 Seedlings are classified according to the regulations in Table 1. The seedlings of Schisandra chinensis are divided into two grades. The seedlings of grades I and II are qualified seedlings that can be exported.

4 Detection method
4.1 Seedling detection should be carried out in the shaded lee to prevent air drying and water loss.
4.2 Ground diameter detection, measuring the upper normal part of the soil mark expansion.
4.3 Seedling height measurement, measuring the length of seedlings from the ground diameter along the stem to the base of the top bud.
4.4 Root length measurement, measuring seedlings from ground to tip.
4.5 Root width measurement, measuring the length of the longest string of the fan surface naturally formed by the seedling roots.
5 inspection tools
5.1 Vernier caliper, check the ground diameter.
5.2 Steel tape measure to detect seedling height, root length and root width.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection work shall be carried out on site.
6.2 The quality and quantity inspection of seedlings shall be sampled according to the following regulations.
