1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the construction and cultivation of bamboo forest for pulp, bamboo forest protection, bamboo harvesting, bamboo yield and bamboo forest survey.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Production of bamboo forest for bamboo used in pulp and papermaking.
3.2
The underground stem and shaft type, the whole bamboo is developed from the buds of the base of the mother bamboo stalk, and the bamboo stalks are distributed in clusters, or some of the shafts are scattered.
The distribution of bamboo stalks is scattered.
3.3
The underground stem (commonly known as bamboo whip) is uniaxial or multi-axial, Hsinchu is developed from the bud on the bamboo whip, or the compound axis can have some Hsinchu from the stalk base.
The buds are developed and the bamboo stalks are scattered.
3.4
The underground stem of uniaxial or multi-axial bamboo is composed of several nodes and internodes. It has buds on the nodes and can grow into Hsinchu or Hsinchu whip.

The shaft-type bamboo grows from the buds on the stalk base, and the uniaxial bamboo grows from the buds on the bamboo whip. The compound-type bamboo can be made from the bamboo whip.

4 Pulp bamboo forest construction
4.1 Selection of afforestation sites
The afforestation site should meet the following conditions.
