Foreword

This standard replaces LY/T 1496-1999 "Samatsu pine fast-growing high-yield forest". This standard introduces the following contents of LY/T 1496-1999 Revised. --- Changed the practice of determining growth indicators only in the past, only in the division of production areas. On the basis of the division of the production area, according to the location Develop growth indicators at several levels. --- Re-established the entire growth indicator. --- Major modifications have been made to the cultivation techniques (afforestation density, land preparation, thinning, etc.). Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C of this standard are informative annexes. This standard is proposed and managed by the State Forestry Administration. This standard is mainly drafted by. The same site type, its environmental cause Sub-combinations (eg small terrain, parent rock, parent material, soil, microclimate, plant community), forest productivity and management and utilization are roughly similar. 3.2 Status index A quantitative indicator reflecting the quality of the site and the productivity of the forest land, directly using the standard age of each species (the standard age of Pinus masson is 20 years) The average height of the forest's dominant wood is expressed. 3.3 3.3.1 Its wood is mainly used for decoration, decoration, pillars, transportation, etc. of buildings, and can be further divided into large diameter timber, medium diameter timber and small diameter timber. Large diameter timber. trees with a diameter of 26 (cm) and above; Medium-diameter timber. trees with a diameter of 18 to 24 (cm) in diameter; Small diameter timber. trees with a diameter of 16 (cm) and below. (with 2cm as a scale) 3.3.2 To cultivate fast-growing and high-yield forests for the production of wood pulp and papermaking materials.

4 division of production areas

According to the natural geographical characteristics and growth of the various distribution areas of Pinus massoniana, and taking into account the management tradition, the natural distribution of Pinus massoniana is divided into three.
