1 Scope

This standard specifies the preparation, requirements, deployment, marine patrol and maintenance, recovery and return of the tsunami buoy system for marine operations. Basic requirements for post-harvest care and maintenance. This standard is applicable to sea operations of tsunami buoy systems with surface buoys with a diameter of no more than 3m. 3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Tsunami Buoy System A buoy system for monitoring the tsunami by accurately measuring the pressure change of the submarine water column. Note. The tsunami buoy system consists of surface buoys, underwater units and land control centers. 3.2 Acoustic communicator A device that transmits data through acoustic signals. 3.3 Surface buoy Moored in a predetermined sea area, it provides a two-way communication relay platform for the underwater data of tsunami monitoring and the instructions sent from the land. 3.4 Underwater unit A high-precision pressure sensor is installed, which can monitor the water column pressure from the sea surface to the seabed in real time, and send the monitoring data through the acoustic communication machine A device to reach the surface buoy and receive instructions from the surface buoy.
