1 Scope
This standard specifies the operation and maintenance procedures and requirements of marine environment monitoring buoys in coastal waters, marine data comparison, data quality control and evaluation
Requirements for assessing and maintaining archives.
This standard is applicable to guide the operation and maintenance of mooring monitoring buoys in coastal waters.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Marine environment monitoring buoy
A device that can carry and hang various types of instruments and equipment, which can collect, process, store and wirelessly transmit at a fixed point, automatically, long-term, and continuously.
Data buoys for importing marine environmental data and other elements.

4 Operation and maintenance process
4.1 Operation and maintenance process
The operation and maintenance process is as follows.
a) The type of maintenance is determined;
b) Maintenance process;
c) Maintenance work review and data archiving.
4.2 Determination of maintenance type
There are 3 ways to operate and maintain marine environment monitoring buoys.
a) Routine maintenance. According to the calibration cycle and maintenance cycle, routine maintenance.
b) Troubleshooting. According to data abnormality or data interruption, check the cause of the fault and eliminate the fault.
c) Emergency accident handling. If the buoy is found to be damaged due to displacement, collision or other force majeure, it shall be dealt with as an emergency.
4.3 Maintenance requirements
According to the type of maintenance, the maintenance personnel should determine the maintenance time and task content, and prepare the maintenance and repair tools and the required marine data comparison
