Foreword
This revised standard adopts ISO 9878.1990 "Micrographics microfilm with graphic symbols" (in English).
This standard and ISO 9878.1990 as compared to the presence of the following main technical differences.
--- Normative references deleted the ISO 3461-1. 1988 and ISO 3461-2. 1987;
--- Normative references to ISO 7000.2004 replaces ISO 7000. 1984;
--- Normative references added GB/T 6159.1-2003;
--- Increased Chapter 3, "Terms and Definitions";
--- Chapter 4 deleted statements are subject to the ISO 3461.
This standard and ISO 9878.1990 in comparison, made the following editorial changes.
--- Re-written the foreword and introduction;
--- Increasing the representations of the standard scope of application;
--- The Chapter 3 to Chapter 4;
--- The standard table is compiled in Table 1, and to the table title;
--- Key words will be indexed according to the meaning of the symbol indexed.
This standard replaces GB/T 7516-1996 "Micrographics graphic symbols."
This standard and GB/T 7516-1996 compared to the presence of the following major differences.
--- Normative references to GB/T 6519.1-2003 instead of GB/T 6519.1-1985;
--- Normative references deleted the GB/T 6159.2-1985;
--- Normative references added ISO 7000.2004;
--- Deleted Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C;
--- Increase the index.
