Foreword
GB/T 7187 "Fuel Consumption of Transport Ships" is divided into two parts.
---Part 1.Calculation method for ocean ships;
---Part 2.Calculation method for inland watercraft.
This part is Part 1 of GB/T 7187.
This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 7187.1-2010 "Fuel Consumption of Transport Vessel Part 1.Calculation Method for Ocean Vessels". and
Compared with GB/T 7187.1-2010, the main technical changes except for editorial changes are as follows.
---Modified the scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2010 edition);
---Added the definition of flight segment (see 2.2);
---Modified the definition of additional fuel consumption of marine diesel generator sets (see 2.6,.2010 edition of 2.1.5);
---The definition of the amount of fuel substitution for shore power used by ships has been added (see 2.7);
---Modified the calculation method of fuel consumption for ships' voyages (see 3.1, 3.1 in.2010 edition);
---Modified the calculation method of main engine fuel consumption when the ship is sailing at constant speed and maneuvering (see 3.2, 3.2 in the.2010 edition);
---Modified the calculation method of fuel consumption of marine generator sets (see 3.3, 3.3 in.2010 edition);
---Modified the calculation method of fuel oil consumption of ship boilers (see 3.4, 3.4 in.2010 edition);
---The calculation method for the amount of fuel substitution for shore power used by ships has been added (see 3.5);
--- Delete the list of symbols (see Appendix A of the.2010 edition);
---Modified the calculation example of fuel consumption of marine transportation ships (see Appendix A, Appendix B of the.2010 edition);
---Added the reference coefficients of various energy conversion standard oils in the calculation formula (see Appendix B).

Fuel consumption of transport ships
Part 1.Calculation method for ocean ships
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 7187 specifies the calculation method for fuel consumption of marine transportation vessels.
This part is applicable to container ships, general cargo ships, dry bulk carriers, liquid bulk carriers, passenger ships and others that use diesel engines as the main propulsion power.
Calculation of fuel consumption of various marine transportation vessels such as ships.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Voyage
The process by which a ship completes a shipping task.
2.2
Segment
The time period from the departure of one unloading port to the departure of the next unloading port.
2.3
Voyagefueloilconsumption
The fuel consumption of the ship per voyage.
2.4
Common operating conditions of ship main engine mainenginefrequentrunningstate
According to the main engine performance and operating conditions and requirements, the operating conditions that the main engine often uses are determined.
2.5
Maneuvernavigation
Ships entering and leaving ports or navigating during the changing conditions of the main engine on narrow waterways.
2.6
Additional fuel oil consumption for auxiliary engine
Ships carrying refrigerated cargo, self-loading and unloading of ships or liquid bulk carriers starting non-steam-driven cargo oil pumps, etc., fuel oil added to diesel generator sets
consumption.
2.7
Fuel oil substitution for using shore-to-ship power
The fuel consumption corresponding to the electricity consumed by ships using land-based shore-based power supply.
3 Fuel consumption of ship voyage
3.1 Fuel consumption of ship voyage
The fuel consumption of the ship's voyage is calculated according to formula (1) (see Appendix A for calculation examples).
