This document defines terms related to space debris and their definitions. This document is applicable to scientific research, engineering practice and academic exchanges related to the field of space debris.

3.1 space object spaceobject Natural objects (celestial bodies) and man-made objects that orbit in the universe. 3.2 Meteoroid Small celestial bodies in the solar system with sizes ranging from 30μm to 1m. 3.3 Micrometeoroid Small, dust-sized meteoroids.
