The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Liquid silicone rubber liquidsiliconerubber
A composition having a self-leveling or thixotropic property based on a linear polyorganosiloxane, which is in the atmosphere or heated
It can be vulcanized to form an elastomer.

One-component liquid silicone rubber one-componentliquidsiliconerubber
It is not necessary to add liquid silicone rubber of other substances before vulcanization.

Two-component liquid silicone rubber two-componentliquidsiliconerubber
A two-part mixture of liquid silicone rubber is required before vulcanization.

At least three parts of liquid silicone rubber are required before vulcanization.
4 Classification and system nomenclature

Liquid silicone rubbers are classified and named for product composition, cure mechanism, hardness and use.
