1 Scope

DNA (full name Deoxyribonucleicacid) is deoxyribonucleic acid; RNA (full name Ribonucleic acid) is ribonucleic acid. 2.4.1 Single-stranded exonuclease single-strandedexonuclease An enzyme having the function of catalyzing the degradation of DNA from a 5'-end or a 3'-end of a single-stranded nucleic acid, releasing a short fragment of the oligonucleotide. 2.4.2 Double-stranded exonuclease double-strandedexonuclease An enzyme having the action of catalyzing the release of a 5'-mononucleotide from the 3'-OH end in a 3'- >5' direction of double-stranded DNA. 2.5 Polymerase polymerase It has an enzyme capable of catalyzing the action of synthesizing a new nucleic acid strand using a nucleic acid strand as a template.
