Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added sections on data culture, data assets, data asset operation, data catalog, key data elements, data processing, important data, and data...
Based on the terminology and definitions for product and data destruction (see Chapter 3), the terminology and definitions for data governance and data security (see 3.2) have been revised.
Version 3.9 (compared to versions 3.5 and 3.11 in.2018) removed data management capabilities, the data management capability maturity assessment model, and capability domains.
Terms and definitions (see 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 in the.2018 edition);
b) Added abbreviations for CDE, CRUD, and SLA (see Chapter 4), and removed abbreviations for DCMM, KPI, and TCO (see Chapter 4).

c) A data asset capability domain has been added, and the data application capability domain has been changed to the data application circulation capability domain (see Table 1 in 5.1,.2018 version).

d) Four new capabilities have been added. ownership management, value assessment, asset operation, and external data management, thus expanding the data governance domain.
Communication was changed to data culture building, and data security policies and management in the data security domain were changed to data security cooperation.
In terms of regulations and data security protection, the data application capability domain will be transformed from data analysis and data open sharing to data application and data openness.

e) The description and characteristics of the “Maturity Assessment Level” have been changed (see 5.2,.2018 version 5.2);

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

data strategy
The organization's vision, goals, and principles for conducting data work.
3.2
data governance
The process of organizations improving the quality, security, and compliance of data, and promoting the effective use of data.
3.3
Data culture
The data-centric values and behavioral patterns developed within the organization promote data-driven decision-making and innovation through systematic measures.
3.4
Data Assets
Data resources that are legally owned or controlled by a specific entity, can be measured in monetary terms, and can bring economic or social benefits.

Data asset operations
The activities of authorized operating entities to govern and develop the data resources they hold and to provide data products and technical services to the market.

Data architecture
Defining data requirements through an organizational-level data model guides the distributed control and integration of data assets, and facilitates the deployment of data sharing and application environments.
