This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB/T 32765-2016 "Bohai Black Cattle". Compared with GB/T 32765-2016, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes.
Aside from the changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The varietal origin has been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.2016 edition);
b) Physical characteristics were altered (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4 in the.2016 edition);
c) The body weight measurement has been changed (see 6.1, 5.1 in the.2016 edition);
d) Meat production performance was altered (see 6.2, 5.3 in the.2016 edition);
e) Reproduction performance has been changed (see 6.3, 5.2 in the.2016 version);
f) The basic requirements have been changed (see 7.1, 6.1 in the.2016 version);
g) The body shape and appearance rating system has been changed (see 7.2, 6.2 in the.2016 version);

This includes Wudi County, Zhanhua District, Yangxin County, and Bincheng District in Binzhou City, Dongying City, Dezhou City, Weifang City, and Zibo City in Shandong Province, and Hebei Province.
They are also distributed in Cangzhou City, with the largest number found in Wudi County. Bohai Black Cattle are hardy, resilient, and capable of producing marbling beef.

5.Body shape and appearance
The Bohai Black Cattle are covered entirely in black or dark brown hair, with black hooves, horns, muzzle, and tongue. They are robust, well-proportioned, and have a broad, deep body.
The body is relatively well-developed. The horns are diverse in shape, mostly dragon-gate horns and inverted V-shaped horns. The chest is broad and deep, the back and waist are long, wide, and straight, and the rump is relatively wide. The limbs are broad and well-defined.
