3 origin and variety characteristics
Liyang chicken origin in Jiangsu Province, Liyang City, is a meat-type local varieties.
4 appearance
Adult Liyang chicken larger body, body was square; single crown, red, crown teeth 5 ~ 7; crown, meat beard was red, ears and ears were red; iridescence
Was orange; beak, tibia, skin were yellow.
Adult cock feathers yellow or orange, neck feathers, saddle feathers were golden yellow, part of the feathers have black trim, the main wing plume black or half yellow half black,
Deputy main wing feathers yellow or half black, tail feathers were black.
Adult hen body feathers were light yellow, a few were yellow husky, the main wing feathers have gray patches, neck feathers have a small amount of black spots, tail feather was
black.
