Luyuan chicken originating in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province and Changshu City, is a common type of local varieties.

Color; iridescent orange; beak, tibia, yellow skin.
Adult rooster whole body feathers yellow, neck feathers, the main wing feathers have black markings, aileron feathers were golden yellow, shiny, tail feathers black.
