1 Scope

This document describes the determination of the hydrocarbon composition, such as olefins, aromatics, and benzene content, of light petroleum fractions and products by multidimensional gas chromatography. Test method. This document is applicable to olefins in light petroleum fractions and products (such as gasoline, gasoline blending components, solvent oil, etc.) with a final boiling point not higher than 215°C. Determination of hydrocarbon composition and benzene content of hydrocarbons, aromatics, etc. The determination concentration range is 0.5%~70% olefin volume fraction (0.4%~ 64%), aromatics volume fraction is 1%~80% (mass fraction is 1.2%~92%), benzene volume fraction is 0.2%~10% (mass fraction is When measuring samples with contents outside the above range, the precision has not been determined. This document also applies to gasoline products obtained from other unconventional crude oils such as shale or oil sands with a final boiling point not exceeding 215°C or from Hydrocarbon fuels synthesized from non-petroleum fossil fuels, such as Fischer-Tropsch synthetic oil, but the precision has not yet been determined. Motor gasoline often contains ether or alcohol oxygenated compounds, or multiple oxygenated compounds coexist. The olefin components will be eluted together with the olefin components, and the alcohol components will be eluted together with the C7 aromatic components. For oil samples, use other test methods (such as NB/SH/T 0663) to determine the type and content of oxygenated compounds in them, and give the The necessary corrections are made to the hydrocarbon group composition results through the following steps. This document is not applicable to the determination of the content of monomer components in hydrocarbon groups other than benzene.
