Coal Based Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis –
Liquid Wax
1 Scope
This Standard specifies terms and definitions, product classification, technical
requirements and test methods, inspection rules, labels, package, transportation,
storage and safety of coal based fischer-tropsch synthesis – liquid wax.
This Standard is applicable to light liquid wax, heavy liquid wax, and crude liquid wax
generated through the coal based fischer-tropsch synthesis process.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
3.1 Fischer-Tropsch synthesis
The reaction process, under certain temperature and pressure conditions, through the
role of catalyst, the synthesis gas is converted into hydrocarbon products.
3.2 Liquid wax from coal based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis
The liquid hydrocarbons mixture that, taking Fischer-Tropsch synthesis diesel fraction
as the raw material, is mainly consisted of the normal paraffins and obtained through
the processing of oil products.
4 Product Classification
Liquid wax from coal based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis can be divided into three
--- Light liquid wax. liquid hydrocarbon mixture consisting of C10-C14 normal
6 Inspection Rules
6.1 Group-Batch
Under the condition that the raw material and production process are not changed,
then each can of product is deemed as one batch.
6.2 Sampling
Sampling shall be conducted as per GB/T 4756; take 2L specimen for the purposes of
inspection and reservation.
6.3 Exit-factory inspection
This product shall undergo exit-factory inspection, the items of which shall cover all
items in Tables 1, 2, and 3.
6.4 Judgment rule
When all of the exit-factory inspection results conform to the technical requirements of
Tables 1, 2 and 3, then such batch of products are judged to be qualified.
6.5 Re-inspection rule
If some exit-factory inspection results don’t conform to the technical index of Tables 1,
2, and 3, then double amount of specimens shall be taken as per GB/T 4756, and be
re-inspected; if some re-inspection results don’t conform to the technical index of this
Standard, then such product is judged to be disqualified.
7 Labels, Package, Transportation and Storage
Labels, package, transportation, storage, delivery and acceptance of the product shall
be conducted as per SH 0164.
Liquid Wax from Coal Based Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis belongs to flammable liquid
(according to the classification of GB 13690), its hazardous labels shall be made as
per GB 13690, and GB 190.
8 Safety
Liquid Wax from Coal Based Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis belongs to flammable liquid
specified in GB 13690, so the warning labels and instructions shall conform to the
provisions of GB 30000.7. The safety requirements of product shall conform to
