1 Scope
This document specifies the product classification, requirements, design and installation guidelines, inspection rules, marking, instructions for use, packaging and transportation of laboratory furniture.

This document applies to the design, production, installation, sales and quality inspection and evaluation of laboratory benches and storage cabinets.
This document does not apply to furniture for special laboratory use.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
