3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Bathroom furniture
It is a unified term of series of cabinets (stands) and racks in the toilets and
bathrooms that are used to support washbasins and have shelf and storage
5.7 Hygiene and safety requirements (basic items)
5.7.1 The limit of harmful substances in wooden products shall meet the
requirements of GB 18584.
5.7.2 The radioactivity of the product shall meet the grade A requirements in GB
6566.
5.7.3 Parts or accessories that may be touched during normal use shall not
have burrs, sharp ends, sharp edges, or sharp corners.
5.8 Installation and use requirements (basic items)
5.8.1 The components of the product shall be connected firmly and tightly; the
joint shall be flat and free from chipping and loosening.
5.8.2 The installation of various accessories and connectors shall not miss parts
or nails, or have penetrated nail.
5.8.3 After installation, the opening and closing components shall be operated
flexibly.
5.8.4 There shall be no seepage or water leakage under normal use after
installation between all parts of the product.
5.8.5 The cabinet shall be level after installation; the parallelism with the ground
shall not be greater than 0.7‰.
5.8.6 The cabinet installation shall be vertical. All moving parts shall not be self-
opening after being impacted by external forces.
5.8.7 The electrical appliances such as lamps, sockets and switches shall be
installed firmly and grounded reliably.
6 Test method
6.1 Determination of major dimensional deviations, shape and position
tolerances
6.1.1 Determination of major dimensional deviations
The sample shall be placed on a flat plate or flat ground; measured by a steel
ruler or tape measure with an accuracy of not less than 1 mm. The dimensional
deviation is the difference between the product identification value and the
measured value.
6.1.2 Determination of warpage
Make determination according to the requirements of GB/T 4893.1 ~ 4893.4,
GB/T 4893.7 ~ 4893.9, 4.40 of GB/T 17657-1999.
6.4.2.2 Determination of physical and chemical properties of soft and hard
coverings
Make determination according to the requirements of GB/T 4893.1 ~ 4893.3,
GB/T 4893.7, 4.29, 4.38, 4.40 of GB/T 17657-1999.
6.4.2.3 Determination of physical and chemical properties of metal
surface coatings
6.4.2.3.1 Hardness
Make determination according to the requirements of GB/T 6739-2006.
6.4.2.3.2 Impact strength
Make determination according to the requirements of GB/T 1732.
6.4.2.3.3 Corrosion resistance
Make determination according to the requirements of 7.3.3.7 of GB/T 13667.1-
2003.
6.4.2.3.4 Adhesion
Make determination according to the requirements of GB/T 4893.4.
6.4.2.4 Roughness of metal plating layer
Make determination according to the requirements of 3.2 of QB/T 3814-1999.
6.4.2.5 Resistance to salt spray on metal plating
Make determination according to the requirements of QB/T 3826-1999.
6.4.2.6 24h water absorption thickness swelling rate of wooden parts
Make determination according to the requirements of 4.6 in GB/T 17657-1999.
6.4.2.7 Dip peel off of veneer and soft-hard veneer
Make determination according to the requirements of the category II dip peel
off test of clause 4.17 of GB/T 17657-1999.
6.5 Water resistance
As shown in Figure 2, use a 50 ~ 80 hole shower head with a hole diameter of
1.0 mm ~ 1.5 mm and a flow rate of 10 L/min ~ 12 L/min, to sprinkle the
6.7 Hygiene and safety requirements test
6.7.1 The limit test of harmful substances in wooden products shall be
determined in accordance with the provisions of GB 18584.
6.7.2 The product radioactivity test shall be performed in accordance with the
provisions of GB6566.
6.7.3 The safety of parts or accessories shall be inspected according to 6.3.
6.8 Requirements for installation and use
6.8.1 Determination of parallelism
Use a steel tape measure or steel ruler with an accuracy of not less than ± 0.6
mm per meter, to measure the height above the ground at the midpoint of each
set of cabinets. The ratio of the difference to the side length is the parallelism.
6.8.2 Determination of water seepage and leakage
Fill the basin with water. After 30 min, check for leakage. Then empty the basin,
check whether there is leakage inside the cabinet.
6.8.3 Tests of other items
Perform test in accordance with the requirements of 6.2.
7 Inspection rules
7.1 Classification of inspections
Product inspection is divided into type inspection, exit-factory inspection,
installation acceptance inspection. Type inspection is a comprehensive
assessment of product quality; exit-factory inspection is a specified item
inspection that shall be performed when the product is shipped or delivered;
installation acceptance inspection is an inspection of the product after
installation at the user's site.
7.2 Exit-factory inspection
7.2.1 Exit-factory inspection items
The exit-factory inspection items are 5.1, 5.2, 5.7.3, 5.8.1 ~ 5.8.3 in this
standard.
7.2.2 Group-batch rules and exit-factory inspection sampling scheme
Products of the same material, same process, produced in the same period can
7.3.2 Type inspection conditions
Type inspection shall be carried out in one of the following situations:
a) Trial-type identification of new product or the old products after trans-plant
production;
b) After the formal production, if there are major changes in structure,
materials and processes, which may affect product performance;
c) In normal production, at regular interval or after accumulating a certain
production amount, it shall perform one inspection regularly; the
inspection cycle is generally one year;
d) When the production is restored after long term shutdown;
e) When the exit-factory inspection results are significantly different from the
last type inspection results;
f) When a national quality supervision agency requests a type inspection.
7.3.3 Sampling rules for type inspection
In one inspection cycle, randomly take 2 samples from the recently produced
products, 1 is sent for inspection, the other is retained.
7.3.4 Evaluation of type inspection results
7.3.4.1 Evaluation of inspection results of individual product
If the basic items are all qualified and the number of unqualified general items
are not more than 5, then the product of this model is evaluated as a qualified
product (contract item, which is determined according to the contract
requirements). Otherwise it is unqualified product.
7.3.4.2 Evaluation of inspection results of complete products
Each product in a complete set of products shall be evaluated in accordance
with 7.3.4.1. When each product is qualified, the set of products shall be
evaluated as qualified; otherwise it shall be unqualified.
7.3.5 Reinspection rules
If the product is unqualified after type inspection, the retained backup sample
can be re-inspected. The inspection and evaluation of the unqualified items and
unchecked items due to damage to the sample shall be performed in
accordance with the provisions of 7.3.4.1. Meanwhile in the inspection result, it
shall indicate “reinspection”.
