This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 18302-2001 "Basic Requirements for National Flag Raising Devices". Compared with GB/T 18302-2001, the main differences are in the structural design.
Aside from integration and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2001 edition);
b) The terms "single-story building" and "multi-story building" have been removed (see 3.2 and 3.3 of the.2001 edition);
c) The term "conical flagpole" has been added (see 3.2);
d) The flagpole materials have been expanded to include stainless steel, aluminum alloy, metal composite materials, etc. (see 4.1.1);
e) Added colors to the lifting device (see 4.2);
f) Added size configurations for stainless steel flagpoles, aluminum alloy flagpoles, and metal composite material flagpoles (4.4.2.2,
4.4.2.3, 4.2.2.4);
g) Added requirements for tapered flagpoles (see 4.5, Appendix A);
h) The requirement for flagpole systems with automatic timing devices has been added (see 4.6).

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
